Events organised by the Theaterakademie and the Bavarian State Theatres
There is no box office at the Prinzregententheater and the Bayerische Theaterakademie August Everding.
Tickets for events of the Theaterakademie and the Bavarian State Theatres can be purchased at the central advance booking office of the Bavarian State Theatres and at the box office.
Advance ticket sales for all Theaterakademie performances in the Grosses Haus in the Prinzregententheater begin two months before the date of the event. Advance ticket sales for all performances in other venues begin one month in advance.
If the date falls on a Sunday or public holiday, sales begin on the working day before. A processing fee of € 2.00 per ticket will be charged for telephone and online sales.
With immediate effect: 3D-Secure procedure for credit card purchases
Please note that, with immediate effect, credit card payments in our webshop are only possible if your credit card has been authorised for the 3D Secure procedure. For information on activating your credit card, please contact your bank.
The background to this procedure is a European Union directive. This stipulates that in future, customers will have to prove their identity twice for all electronic payments in the European Union.

Vouchers
The Bayerische Theaterakademie August Everding acts as an organiser in the Prinzregententheater itself, but also rents the venue to guest organisers and cooperation partners, who are responsible for their own ticket sales.
There are no vouchers for the Bayerische Theaterakademie August Everding's own productions, only single tickets or a subscription per season.
If you are interested in both guest and in-house events at the Prinzregententheater, membership of the Thea Kulturklub (Theatergemeinde e.V. München) would be worth considering, as you can choose from various packages that also include events at our theatre (information on this can be found at www.thea.info/).
You can purchase vouchers from (almost) all guest organisers and cooperation partners, which can of course also be used for tickets to events at the Prinzregententheater. These include:

- Our co-operation partner BR does not offer vouchers itself, but it is possible to purchase a printed voucher (NOT online!) via MünchenTicket, which can be redeemed in the BR ticket shop on site.
Please note that such vouchers can only be used to book tickets for events in our theatre via the respective ticket shop. Simply use the filter functions of the respective ticket shops and select the Prinzregententheater under ‘Concert Hall’. This will give you an overview of all events in the Prinzregententheater from the respective provider (e.g. via MünchenMusik at https://www.muenchenmusik.de/mm/veranstaltungen).

The ticket prices quoted include an advance booking fee of 10%. For subscribers, this fee is waived for all ticket purchases when booking by telephone on +49 (0)89 98 29 28 0
For online orders, the ticket price is supplemented by a €1 system fee per ticket. The prices for the individual concerts can be found in the event overview.
Box office
The box office opens one hour before the start of each performance.
Discounts
These regulations apply exclusively to events organised by the Bayerische Theaterakademie August Everding and the Bavarian State Theatres.
Please enquire about discounts for guest events directly with the respective organiser.
Persons with disabilities
Persons with disabilities receive discounts at all Bavarian State Theatres and at the Theatre Academy. In order to be eligible for these, your severely disabled pass must bear the mark ‘EB’, ‘Bl’, ‘VB’ or ‘B’. Please note that these discounts only apply to ticket sales and that it is not possible to combine different features or with the subscription. Reduced tickets for severely disabled persons are not transferable and are only valid in conjunction with a valid disabled person's pass. The seat for the accompanying person is always next to the seat for the severely disabled person; it cannot be exchanged for another seat.
- Persons with a severe disability and a ‘B’ rating do not receive a discount. However, if an accompanying person can provide proof of disability, they will receive a 100% discount.
- Wheelchair users: Wheelchair users receive free admission. The seat for an accompanying person is available at a 50% discount.
- Visually impaired persons: Visually impaired persons (marked ‘Bl’ on their disability card) and their accompanying person each receive a 50% discount on the regular ticket price.
- War invalids: War, military service and concentration camp invalids (marked ‘EB’ or ‘VB’) and their accompanying person receive a 50% discount on the regular ticket price.
Pupils, students, trainees and volunteers
For pupils, students, trainees up to the age of 30 and volunteers, discounted tickets are available at the ticket counter, online and at the box office for 8 euros. The discount authorisation must be shown together with the ticket on admission.
Munich Pass
From 15 minutes before the performance, you can obtain remaining tickets at the student discount price with the München Pass.
NOTE:The purchase of discounted tickets (e.g. family performances, KiJu 8.00 € performances, discounts for the severely disabled) is unfortunately not possible via online sales. This also applies to vouchers, credit or subscription vouchers. You can obtain these tickets in advance by telephone or directly at the box office.
It is not possible to subsequently discount tickets that have already been paid for.
Ticket return
Paid tickets for events organised by the Bayerische Theaterakademie August Everding cannot be returned or exchanged.
