The degree course is aimed at applicants who are curious and knowledgeable about the various branches of arts and culture. Who do not shy away from the tension between tradition and technical progress. Who are keen to constantly broaden their cultural horizons. Who have an interest in debating with the public and use the latest technologies to advocate for appropriate visibility of cultural coverage in the media in a confident, knowledgeable, intelligent and contentious manner.
The requirements for applying are:
- a first vocational university qualification (e.g. Bachelor's degree) or an equivalent degree from Germany or abroad
- Successful participation in the aptitude test
Application procedure:
- Online application by 31 May for the following winter semester: hmtm.de/bewerben
- A pre-selection will be made on the basis of the written application.
- The selected applicants will be invited to a one-day entrance examination in Munich in July.
- Participation in one of the selection days in Munich (always in July): Writing a commentary on a predetermined question, developing a concept for the innovative media implementation of a given cultural topic (group work), individual interview with the examination board Link to the application portal
