What is it about?

As part of the acting course, we place particular emphasis on the development of an independent artistic personality. In addition to technical training as the basis of all theatrical work, students are prepared for a theatre that is increasingly detached from the literary text, emphasises the rehearsal process and is committed to collective working methods. Various in-house productions by the Bayerische Theaterakademie August Everding are an integral part of the training. The practical studies take place at the Prinzregententheater in Munich.

Due to a possible interlinking in the 6th semester, both courses can be studied in a total of eight semesters, i. e. in four years.
