The Master's programme in Acting is aimed at actors who have already successfully completed an acting degree and have mastered established methodologies and working methods. By expanding communicative and social competences as well as increasing flexibility, the programme provides excellent preparation for working in a permanent ensemble.

The programme also promotes the development of an individual acting style. By engaging with contemporary forms of acting, students develop an awareness of issues which leads to a creative and experimental approach to acting processes.

In addition to working on scenes and monologues and engaging in practical and theoretical exploration of questions of artistic research, the Master's programme includes a project/production, which is also presented at the Treffen der deutschsprachigen Schauspielstudierenden. Students also participate in the auditions of the ZAV artist agency of the Federal Employment Agency.
