How does the program work?
The Course of Scenography and Stage Costume Design primarily focuses on working on individual artistic projects and theatre productions in collaboration with the Bayerische Theaterakademie August Everding. Based on specific assignments and themes, stage design models, costume sketches, or spatial installations are developed. Joint productions with students from other disciplines provide training closely connected to the artistic processes and technical workflows of theatre. New and collective forms of working are explored and established.
What comes next?
Graduates of the Course of Scenography and Stage Costume Design work in the independent art and theatre scene as well as at renowned municipal and state theatres.
